Porters Golf – Cancellation, Return, Refund & Dispute Policy

This Cancellation, Return, Refund & Dispute Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through the Porters Golf website and any related sales channels (collectively, the “Site”).

Porters Golf is an independent golf retailer and reseller of third-party products. Certain products are fulfilled directly by manufacturers or suppliers. Limited customer information may be shared strictly as necessary to complete order fulfillment. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.

This Policy is intended to comply with applicable U.S. federal law and state consumer protection laws, including those of California, New York, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, and all other states.


1. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

1.1 Cancellations Prior to Shipment

Orders may be canceled without penalty only before shipment or production begins.

Cancellation requests are typically acknowledged within 48 hours. Cancellation is not guaranteed if the order has already shipped, entered production, or been submitted to a supplier for fulfillment.

1.2 Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Custom, made-to-order, or specially configured products are non-cancelable and non-refundable once production has begun. These items are manufactured to customer specifications and cannot be resold.


2. RETURNS

2.1 General Return Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, eligible items may be returned within 15 calendar days of delivery.

Manufacturer-specific return policies disclosed on product pages supersede this general policy.

2.2 Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Product is unused, uninstalled, unopened, and in original condition

  • All original packaging, manuals, accessories, tags, and components are included

  • No signs of wear, use, modification, or installation

  • Proof of purchase is provided

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is issued prior to return shipment

Porters Golf reserves the right to refuse a return or issue a partial refund if these conditions are not met.

2.3 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable, except where required by law or if shipped incorrectly:

  • Custom-fitted or custom-ordered products

  • Products with altered specifications (shaft, grip, loft, lie, length, etc.)

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Used golf balls

  • Gift cards

  • Products explicitly marked “Final Sale”

  • Appotronics MK625B Golf Simulator Projector (unless defective or damaged and reported within 15 days)

Certain manufacturers may impose additional restrictions, which are disclosed on individual product pages.

2.4 Restocking Fees

Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, depending on the product or manufacturer.

  • Restocking fees are disclosed prior to purchase

  • Fees are deducted from the refund amount

  • Example: Carl’s Place products may incur an additional 5% restocking fee

2.5 Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and original shipping charges, unless prohibited by law

  • Trackable and insured shipping is strongly recommended

  • Porters Golf is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

2.6 CARL’S PLACE® SIMULATOR BUNDLES & HIGH-VALUE SYSTEMS

Certain Carl’s Place products, including premium simulator bundles and high-value systems, are subject to special return, refund, and handling conditions:

  • Returns: Customers must contact Porters Golf to confirm eligibility before ordering; returns may be limited or restricted

  • Custom Products: Made-to-order or specially configured systems are final sale once production begins

  • Shipping Estimates: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on configuration, supplier scheduling, and destination

  • Additional Fees: Standard restocking fees apply; an additional  Carl’s Place restocking fee upt o 50% may apply

  • Professional Installation: Certain systems may require professional installation; customers should consult Porters Golf prior to purchase

  • Component-Specific Terms: Individual components or modules may carry separate return eligibility; refer to product pages

Consumer Rights:
Nothing in this section limits or waives customer rights under federal or state law. Defective or damaged items must still be repaired, replaced, or refunded as required by applicable law, regardless of restocking or final-sale designations.


3. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Customers must inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt.

Failure to report within this timeframe may affect eligibility for freight or insurance claims. Verified defective, damaged, or incorrect items will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at no additional cost.


4. REFUNDS

4.1 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing typically occurs within 5–10 business days after inspection

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or due to Porters Golf error

4.2 Exchanges

Porters Golf does not offer direct exchanges. Customers must return eligible items and place a new order.


5. SHIPPING ESTIMATES

All shipping and delivery dates are estimates only. Delays may occur due to manufacturing schedules, supplier fulfillment, carrier issues, labor shortages, or weather. Porters Golf is not liable for delays outside its control.


6. PROMOTIONS (BUY-ONE-GET-ONE)

For BOGO or similar promotions:

  • All items must be returned to qualify for a full refund

  • Partial returns may result in store credit or adjusted refunds

  • Return shipping and restocking fees apply


7. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers are encouraged to contact Porters Golf prior to initiating a chargeback. Porters Golf may provide order records, tracking data, and delivery confirmation to payment processors. This section does not limit rights under applicable law.


8. PRIVACY NOTICE (CALIFORNIA & OTHER STATES)

California residents have rights under CCPA/CPRA. Residents of other states may have similar rights under applicable law. See the Privacy Policy for details.


9. STATE-SPECIFIC CONSUMER RIGHTS

This Policy complies with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws. Where required by law, it is provided prior to checkout and governs all sales except where prohibited.
