Please read this policy before placing an order or requesting a cancellation, return, replacement, or refund.

Any more specific return terms displayed on the applicable product page or during checkout at the time of purchase will control over the general terms below.

1. How to Start a Return
All returns require advance approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization, also called an RMA.
Submit your return request using one of the following methods:
Online:
https://portersgolf.com/return-authorization-request/
Email: [email protected]
Use the email subject line:
Return Request — Order #[your order number]
Phone:
(877) 746-5387
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- The product name and SKU;
- The reason for the return;
- Whether the item has been opened, assembled, installed, activated, registered, or used; and
- Photographs of the product and packaging if the item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect.
Please do not send return items to our mailing address without contacting us first. To initiate a return, please submit a request to [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and specific return shipping instructions/label for your order.
Do not send a product back until Porters Golf provides an RMA number and return instructions.
Returns received without an RMA may be refused, returned to the sender, or delayed.
2. Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact Porters Golf immediately if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will attempt to cancel or modify the order, but cancellation is not guaranteed once:
- Payment has been processed;
- Inventory has been allocated;
- The order has been submitted to a manufacturer or supplier;
- Production or customization has started;
- A software license or digital product has been issued;
- The order has been packaged; or
- The order has entered the shipping process.
Custom, personalized, made-to-order, special-order, and manufacturer-direct products may not be cancelable after processing, procurement, production, or fulfillment begins.
A cancellation fee may apply when a manufacturer, supplier, payment processor, or service provider charges Porters Golf for work already completed, inventory allocation, payment processing, production, or order cancellation.
Any applicable cancellation fee will be explained before the cancellation is finalized.
3. Standard Return Window
Unless a product page or a product-specific section below states otherwise, most eligible products may be returned within 15 calendar days after delivery.
The customer must submit the return request within the applicable return period. Receiving an RMA does not extend the return period unless Porters Golf confirms an extension in writing.
To qualify for a refund, the product must generally be:
- New and unused;
- Uninstalled and unaltered;
- Complete;
- In its original packaging;
- Accompanied by all accessories, manuals, cables, hardware, parts, promotional items, and included materials;
- Free from damage, excessive wear, dirt, odors, scratches, modifications, or missing components; and
- Returned according to the RMA instructions.
Opening a package does not automatically make every product nonreturnable. However, certain electronics, software products, manufacturer-direct items, and special-order products must remain unopened when that requirement is stated on the product page.
4. Product-Specific Return Rules
The following terms replace the standard 15-day return window when they apply.
4.1 Carl’s Place Products
Most eligible Carl’s Place products may be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery. Customers must contact Porters Golf and receive return authorization before returning a Carl’s Place product.
Eligible products are generally expected to be returned:
- New and unused
- Complete
- In their original packaging
Return shipping is generally the customer’s responsibility unless the return results from a verified Porters Golf error, incorrect shipment, or approved shipping-damage claim.
Returned products are inspected before a refund is approved. Items returned in a condition other than new and unused may be subject to a restocking fee or may be ineligible for refund.
Certain Carl’s Place products may have additional restrictions, including:
- Clearance items
- Gift cards
- Software and digitally delivered products
- Custom or nonstandard finishes
- Custom-sized replacement components
- Products with untraditional dimensions
- Manufacturer-direct items
- Products identified as final sale or nonreturnable
Manufacturer-direct and custom products may also have separate cancellation or restocking fees.
The specific terms disclosed on the applicable Porters Golf product page at the time of purchase will apply.
4.2 FlightScope Products
FlightScope physical hardware is generally eligible for return within 30 calendar days after delivery, subject to the conditions stated below.
Promotional-discount Mevo+ products may be subject to a shorter return period, including a seven-calendar-day return period when disclosed on the applicable Porters Golf product page at the time of purchase.
Customers must contact Porters Golf and receive an RMA before returning any FlightScope product.
The product must be returned unused, undamaged, complete, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, cables, cases, stickers, and included materials.
Customers are responsible for return shipping. If Porters Golf or the manufacturer provides a return label for a buyer-initiated return, the cost of that label may be deducted from the refund.
A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply if the FlightScope product is:
- Opened or used;
- Incomplete;
- Damaged;
- Missing accessories or materials;
- Missing original packaging; or
- Otherwise not returned in the required condition.
Porters Golf may deny a return that does not satisfy the return requirements.
FlightScope software licenses, subscriptions, feature activations, software upgrades, and other digital products are final sale and nonrefundable once issued, delivered, downloaded, registered, redeemed, or activated, except where required by law.
4.3 Manufacturer-Direct Products
A manufacturer-direct product is shipped directly to the customer by a manufacturer, distributor, or supplier.
Manufacturer-direct products may have different:
- Cancellation deadlines;
- Return periods;
- Restocking fees;
- Packaging requirements;
- Return addresses;
- Warranty procedures;
- Shipping charges; and
- Final-sale restrictions.
The specific terms displayed on the applicable product page at the time of purchase will apply.
Do not return a manufacturer-direct product to Porters Golf or directly to the manufacturer unless the RMA instructions provide the correct return address.
4.4 Other Manufacturer-Specific Rules
Products from other manufacturers may have shorter return periods, unopened-packaging requirements, final-sale restrictions, or manufacturer-specific restocking fees.
When a manufacturer-specific rule differs from the general Porters Golf policy, the more specific rule displayed on the product page at the time of purchase will apply.
5. Freight and Large-Equipment Returns
Golf simulator enclosures, complete simulator packages, projectors, hitting mats, golf carts, palletized products, large electronics, and other oversized products may require freight shipping.
Freight returns require advance written authorization.
For buyer-initiated freight returns, the customer is responsible for applicable charges, including:
- Return freight;
- Pickup fees;
- Packaging and palletizing;
- Return-shipment insurance or declared-value coverage, when applicable;
- Liftgate service;
- Residential pickup or delivery charges;
- Storage charges;
- Redelivery charges; and
- Other carrier fees.
Original freight and delivery charges are nonrefundable unless the return results from a verified Porters Golf error or approved shipping-damage claim.
Porters Golf will provide available return instructions and estimated return-freight charges when the RMA is issued.
If Porters Golf arranges the return shipment, the return-freight costs may be deducted from the refund.
6. Custom, Made-to-Order and Special-Order Products
Custom, personalized, made-to-order, modified, cut-to-size, custom-finished, and special-order products are final sale once production, customization, procurement, or fulfillment begins.
This may include:
- Custom-size impact screens;
- Custom-size enclosures;
- Custom replacement components;
- Custom fabric or finishing work;
- Special-order electronics;
- Products ordered specifically for the customer; and
- Products configured according to customer-provided measurements or specifications.
Porters Golf will identify applicable custom or special-order restrictions on the product page, quotation, invoice, or checkout notice.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all measurements, dimensions, product selections, and specifications before approving a custom order.
7. Software, Licenses, Subscriptions and Digital Products
Software, digital downloads, simulator-course packages, subscriptions, feature activations, license keys, and other digitally delivered products are final sale and nonrefundable after they are:
- Issued;
- Delivered;
- Downloaded;
- Registered;
- Redeemed; or
- Activated.
Software included with physical equipment may be nontransferable and may affect the return eligibility or refund value of the physical product once activated.
Do not activate, register, download, redeem, or use included software if you are considering returning the product.
8. Restocking Fees and Return Inspections
All returned products are inspected after receipt.
A restocking fee may apply when:
- The product has been opened or used;
- The original packaging is missing or damaged;
- Accessories, manuals, cables, hardware, or promotional items are missing;
- The product requires cleaning, repackaging, testing, repair, or refurbishment;
- The product is returned assembled or altered;
- The product is no longer in new and resalable condition; or
- A manufacturer or supplier charges Porters Golf a return or restocking fee.
Unless a product-specific rule states otherwise, a restocking fee of up to 30% may apply.
The amount of any deduction will be based on:
- The product’s condition;
- Missing components;
- Packaging condition;
- Manufacturer or supplier charges;
- Testing, cleaning, repair, or repackaging requirements; and
- Reduced resale value.
Porters Golf will notify the customer if a restocking fee or other deduction is applied and will explain the reason.
A return may be denied when the product is materially damaged, incomplete, altered, misused, improperly packaged, outside the return period, or otherwise ineligible.
9. Return Shipping
For buyer-initiated returns, including changing your mind, ordering the wrong product, selecting the wrong size, or deciding that the product is no longer needed, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
Use a trackable and insured shipping method.
The customer remains responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to the return address stated in the RMA instructions.
Porters Golf is not responsible for a return that is lost, stolen, misdirected, or damaged during return shipment when the customer selected or arranged the carrier.
If the return results from a verified Porters Golf error, such as shipping the wrong product, Porters Golf will provide return instructions and, when appropriate, a prepaid return label.
Manufacturer-direct defects and warranty claims may require the customer to follow the manufacturer’s shipping and service procedures.
10. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Items
Inspect all packages and products immediately upon delivery.
Visible shipping damage should be reported to Porters Golf as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours after delivery.
Delayed reporting may affect our ability to file a claim with the carrier, but it does not eliminate any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
If freight damage is visible at delivery:
- Photograph the packaging and damage before unpacking further;
- Note the damage on the delivery receipt;
- Do not sign that the shipment was received in good condition;
- Refuse delivery when the damage is severe and the carrier permits refusal; and
- Contact Porters Golf immediately.
For concealed damage, missing components, incorrect products, or defects discovered after opening the package, contact Porters Golf promptly after discovery.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- The product name and SKU;
- Photographs of the shipping carton, labels, internal packaging, and product;
- A description of the damage, defect, missing component, or incorrect item; and
- Video of the issue when reasonably requested for troubleshooting.
Do not discard packaging or damaged components until Porters Golf confirms that they are no longer needed.
After reviewing the claim, Porters Golf may arrange:
- Troubleshooting;
- Replacement parts;
- Repair;
- Replacement;
- Carrier inspection;
- Manufacturer warranty service; or
- A refund, when appropriate.
A defective product is not necessarily eligible for a refund after the applicable return period has expired. Defects reported after the return period will generally be handled under the manufacturer’s warranty.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product is received and inspected.
Porters Golf generally processes approved refunds within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Complex returns, freight claims, missing-component evaluations, manufacturer inspections, or suspected damage may require additional time. Porters Golf will notify the customer if additional review is needed.
After Porters Golf issues the refund, the customer’s bank, card issuer, financing company, or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.
The following amounts are generally nonrefundable:
- Original shipping and freight charges;
- Expedited shipping charges;
- Special freight or enhanced-delivery charges, when applicable;
- Return shipping charges;
- Restocking fees;
- Carrier storage, redelivery, address-correction, or refused-delivery charges;
- Digital products, licenses, activations, and subscriptions; and
- Other amounts identified as nonrefundable at the time of purchase.
Shipping charges will be refunded when required by law or when the return results from a verified Porters Golf shipping error.
Refunds will not be issued before the returned product is received and inspected unless Porters Golf agrees otherwise in writing.
12. Exchanges and Store Credit
Porters Golf does not process automatic item-for-item exchanges.
To obtain a different product, size, or model:
- Submit a return request for the original product.
- Place a new order for the desired product.
- Return the original product according to the RMA instructions.
The original order will be refunded only if the return is approved after inspection.
When agreed in writing, Porters Golf may issue store credit instead of a refund.
Store credit is not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
13. Nonreturnable Items
The following products are generally final sale and nonreturnable:
- Custom, personalized, made-to-order, and special-order products;
- Clearance products and remnants;
- Products marked “Final Sale”;
- Gift cards;
- Software and digital downloads;
- Activated or issued software licenses;
- Subscriptions and service plans after activation;
- Opened consumables;
- Used golf balls and similar used personal products;
- Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, modification, neglect, accident, or unauthorized repair;
- Products missing serial numbers, labels, accessories, or essential components;
- Products returned after the applicable return period; and
- Products identified as nonreturnable on the applicable product page.
Certain final-sale electronics may still qualify for repair, replacement, or warranty service if they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
14. Warranties and Manufacturer Claims
Many products sold by Porters Golf may include a manufacturer’s limited warranty, where provided by the applicable manufacturer.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, registration requirements, repair procedures, and available remedies are determined by the manufacturer.
Porters Golf will reasonably assist customers with warranty instructions and documentation. However, the manufacturer makes the final decision regarding warranty eligibility, repair, replacement, or other warranty remedies.
A manufacturer warranty is separate from the Porters Golf return period. Expiration of the return period does not necessarily end the manufacturer’s warranty.
Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, impact, alteration, unauthorized repair, power problems, environmental conditions, failure to follow instructions, or ordinary wear may not be covered.
15. Refused and Undeliverable Shipments
Do not refuse a shipment unless Porters Golf instructs you to do so or the shipment has substantial visible damage.
A shipment refused for reasons unrelated to verified damage or a Porters Golf error may be treated as a buyer-initiated return.
The customer may be responsible for:
- Original shipping or freight charges;
- Return shipping or freight charges;
- Carrier storage charges;
- Redelivery fees;
- Address-correction fees;
- Restocking fees; and
- Other costs resulting from the refusal or failed delivery.
Orders returned because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, missed delivery appointment, refusal, failure to pay applicable delivery charges, or failure to cooperate with the carrier may be refunded only after applicable costs and fees are deducted.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless another resolution was agreed to in writing.
17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Contact Porters Golf before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.

- Delivery confirmation;
- Customer communications;
- Product-page disclosures;
- Checkout records;

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising a right provided by applicable law or a payment-card agreement.
18. Important Notice Before Checkout
Certain freight products, large equipment, electronics, custom products, manufacturer-direct items, software products, and special-order products have different cancellation and return terms.
