Golf Impact Screens

Price range: $179.95 through $1,169.95

The High-Contrast Gray uses the same three-layer construction as the Premium screen — same impact absorption, same noise reduction, same durability — with one key difference: the surface is gray instead of white. That gray surface is specifically built to pull in ambient light rather than reflect it. The result is deeper blacks, better contrast, and more vivid colors in rooms that have overhead lights, windows, or light sources you can’t fully control. If your room gets ambient light and image quality matters to you, this is the screen to get. If you can fully darken your room, the Premium white screen performs just as well at a comparable price.

Available in 29 sizes and three edge finishing options — Grommets, Flaps, or Loop.

** Prices range from $449.95 to $1,169.95 depending on size and finish selected.

Golf Impact Screens for Every Simulator Setup

Golf Impact Screens are available in Standard, Preferred, Premium, and High-Contrast Gray options for custom indoor golf simulator installations. It is a strong option for home golf rooms, garage simulator bays, basement builds, training studios, and commercial simulator spaces where image quality matters during practice, simulator play, lessons, or customer use.

This screen is designed for golfers who want more than a basic white impact screen. The gray surface helps projected simulator images look deeper and more defined, especially in rooms where lighting is not fully controlled. If your simulator space has windows, ceiling lights, wall lighting, or reflected light from nearby surfaces, a high-contrast gray screen can help the image hold more depth than a standard white screen.

White impact screens can work well in fully dark rooms, but they also reflect more ambient light back toward the viewer. That can make the projected image look washed out when the room is not completely blacked out. The gray surface helps reduce that effect, which can improve how colors, shadows, course details, and ball-flight visuals appear during play.

The High Contrast Gray Impact Screen is a good fit for golfers building a more finished simulator bay. It works well with indoor setups that include a launch monitor, projector, enclosure, hitting mat, simulator computer, and turf. For a higher-end simulator room, the screen is one of the most important parts of the visual experience because it is where the golfer sees the course, shot shape, data feedback, and simulator graphics.

This screen is also a practical choice for garage simulator builds. Garages often have overhead lights, open doors, lighter walls, or other conditions that make it harder to create a fully dark room. A gray impact screen can help the projected image stay easier to see in those situations, which makes the simulator more useful for regular practice.

For dedicated rooms, the Golf Impact Screens choice depends on how much light you can control. In a fully dark basement or theater-style simulator room, a premium white screen can still perform well. But most home simulator spaces are not completely dark all the time. For those rooms, the High Contrast Gray Impact Screen is often the better visual choice because it gives the image a richer look under more real-world conditions.

The High Contrast Gray Impact Screen is a strong option for golfers who want better contrast without moving into a fully custom build. It gives the simulator room a more premium visual foundation and helps the space feel more complete when combined with the right enclosure, projector, hitting mat, turf, computer, and launch monitor.

Edge Finishing Options

Golf Impact Screens come with your choice of any of these finishing styles.

Black Vinyl Edges and Grommets — Metal rings spaced along the edges for bungee cord or tie-down attachment. Standard choice for most Carl’s Place enclosures.

Finished Edges With Flaps — Fabric panels extend beyond the screen on all sides, overlapping the enclosure frame for a tighter, more contained look. Good for permanent and DIY builds.

Finished Edges With Loop — Continuous fabric loop around the entire perimeter for secure frame attachment without individual grommet points.

Which Size Do You Need?

Golf Impact Screens are available in multiple sizes  so you can match the screen to your simulator space and enclosure design.

Match to your enclosure opening — not your room dimensions. If you have a Carl’s Place enclosure the matching size is listed in your enclosure specs. If you’re not sure, reach out and we’ll confirm before you order.
