The LG ProBeam BU53RG runs at 5,000 lumens with a laser light source. That extra output is what holds a sharp, accurate 4K image in rooms with ambient light. The ProBeam has a 0.94:1 throw ratio. That means it needs more room depth than a standard short-throw projector to produce a full-sized image.
