The Carl’s Place DIY enclosure gives you a structured frame and Standard Impact Screen to hit into. The net wall extensions widen the safe zone on both sides — useful if your swing path occasionally pushes shots left or right of center. The Mevo Gen2 sits behind the ball and gives you carry distance, ball speed, launch angle, and spin rate after every swing.
No ceiling modifications. No contractor. No separate software required to start practicing. Plug the Mevo Gen2 into the FlightScope app on your phone and start hitting.
What’s Included
FlightScope Mevo Gen2 Launch Monitor — $1,299.00
FlightScope Fusion Tracking combines 3D Doppler radar with synchronized image processing to measure 20 essential ball and club data parameters. The Mevo Gen2 works indoors and outdoors and connects to the free FS Golf Practice App. It includes the Mevo Gen2 unit, power supply, USB-C cable, carry case, Quickstart Guide and 100 aluminum stickers. A lifetime E6 Connect eight-course bundle for iOS and PC is also included. For limited-flight indoor use, aluminum stickers or Titleist RCT balls are required for accurate spin measurements.
Carl’s Place 8×8×5 DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit with Standard Impact Screen — $1,000.00
The enclosure surround, Standard Impact Screen, corner fittings, bungees, and fasteners. The Standard screen is the right call at this price tier — durable, stable under repeated ball impact, and compatible with a short-throw projector if you decide to add one later.
Pipe Framing Kit (8×8) — $350.00
The steel EMT pipe frame the enclosure structure attaches to. Required to build — included in this package.
Carl’s Place Net Wall Extensions (6’) — $120.00
Attach the Net Wall Extensions to the sides of the enclosure frame using the hook-and-loop fasteners. They extend the ball-containment area beyond the enclosure edges to help catch shots hit wide. The 6-foot extensions are included. Upgrade to the 8-foot extensions (+$20.00) or 10-foot extensions (+$40.00) through the product add-ons on this page.
Carl’s HotShot 4×5 Hitting Mat — $420.00
Realistic turf feel on a stable base. The 4×5 footprint fits cleanly in the 8×8 bay and gives you enough room to set up without overbuilding at this price level.
Carl’s HotShot Foam Divot Strip — $79.95
Inserts into the hitting mat for more realistic contact and divot feedback on every shot.

The 8-foot enclosure can fit a compact practice area, but an 8-foot ceiling may not provide enough clearance for every golfer to swing safely. Confirm the tallest golfer’s full-swing clearance before ordering.

No Projector — Here’s What That Means
FlightScope Mevo Gen2 Net Practice Package package does not include a projector. You will hit into the impact screen and review shot data through the FS Golf Practice App on a compatible phone, tablet or computer.
The included lifetime E6 Connect eight-course bundle can be used on a compatible iOS device or PC. Without a projector, the courses will appear on that device rather than on the impact screen.
The BenQ TH671ST projector can be selected through the product add-ons. A compatible iOS device or PC and the appropriate projector connection are still required and are not included.
