The Problem It Solves

Radar launch monitors work by sending a signal from a position behind and slightly to the side of the ball. The calculations they use to measure ball speed, launch angle, and spin assume the monitor is positioned at a specific height relative to the hitting surface. When your mat raises you off the floor — which most do — the monitor ends up sitting lower than your ball, and the readings drift.

You might not notice it on a single shot, but across a practice session you’ll see inconsistencies that don’t match what you’re actually hitting. Carry distances that seem off. Launch angles that don’t line up with what you feel. This strip brings the monitor back to the right height so the data matches reality.

What It Fits

Designed for radar-based systems — specifically the Garmin Approach R10, FlightScope Mevo+, and Rapsodo MLM2Pro. If you use a camera-based monitor like an Uneekor or Foresight system, you don’t need this — those monitors are overhead or off to the side and aren’t affected by mat height.

Installation

No tools, no modification to your mat. Place it next to your hitting surface where your monitor sits, set the monitor on top, and you’re set. Takes about 30 seconds.

Do I need this if I use a camera-based launch monitor? No — camera-based systems (Uneekor, Foresight, etc.) are positioned overhead or at the side and aren’t affected by mat height. This is specifically for radar monitors that sit beside the hitting area.

Will it work with any hitting mat? It’s designed to compensate for standard mat thickness. If your mat height is significantly different from a standard 1.5–2 inch hitting mat, contact us and we can confirm whether it’ll work for your setup.
